   My wait time for BBQ chicken flat was 5 mins on the dot. The service is kind and courteous, clean environment tasteful decor. What impressive packaging!

   I love this place, especially their crispy gluten-free cauliflower flatbread. So far, I have had the egg, turkey sausage and cheese, Filthy Reuben and Korean BBQ Short Rib sandwiches. My favorite was the Filthy Reuben, altho I would like a little bit more sauerkraut on it. The Korean BBQ had plenty of short rib meat, but I did not care for the BBQ sauce and there was no kimchi. The Egg, Turkey Sausage and Cheese was also good and the least expensive. The service is quick, while the sandwiches are freshly made and hot. I am a fan. They have a good app too.

   The food is fresh, tasty, and something different! Their customer service is also top notch: the owner gave me a free flat after I tried to change my order but couldn't, it was the sweetest thing.    I usually never write reviews but this place is great! - Great service, employees are nice. - Food was delicious. I got the bacon egg and cheese and tator tots combo with coffee. - They give a great amount of utensils and ketchup/Mayo. - Very upbeat vibe, great for the morning. - And a student and city worker discount!    We just tried this carry-out sandwich shop that hails itself as the "home of the open-faced sandwich."Filthy Flats is probably a great breakfast spot with half the menu dedicated to various combinations of egg, cheese, bacon, sausage served hot on a variety of flats.  But, is was lunch time, so we sampled an array of warm & toasty signature flats.First of all, the unique highlight here is the "flat," a firm, round bread, sort of like half a bagel without the hole.  The toppings of meat, vegetable, cheese, sauce, whatever are added and broiled until melty and toasty.We tried the tuna melt, the Cubano and the Ham & Swiss.  All of these were delicious and satisfying, but the Ham & Swiss stood out for me, as the Alfredo sauce enriches the flavor with a rich Croque Monsieur vibe.  These are filing but not overly so.  With half the carbohydrates of a regular bagel sandwich, all the offerings struck me as better balanced.The side of tater tots made me nostalgic for my middle school cafeteria, but the flats are the main event and the as the name implies.  We finished it out with a "Naughty S'more:"  Marshmallow fluff served warm on a colorful rainbow flat, this one is definitely designed to appeal more to children than their parents.Don't miss the iced coffee!  The store has eschewed the usual big name soft-drink dispensary in flavor of sweet tea, lemonade or iced coffee. The iced coffee was perfect - worth stopping in for a 4pm pick-me-up all by itself. The menu also features gluten-free and vegetarian options.  All-in-all a welcome addition to the neighborhood and definitely worth a stop.

   OMG - my new favorite sandwich is FF BBQ Chicken!! So glad I popped in after my meeting at Bklyn Borough Hall today, how fortuitous that it just opened 2 days ago. Frank and Eddie and the whole staff are wonderful to chat with and greet everyone with positive vibes - so much to love at Filthy Flats!!

   Filthy flats are open face sandwiches toasted and served hot. It just opened and located right by Borough Hall convenient to all the office buildings in the area and subways. I had the Korean BBQ. It was a good portion of braised tender Short Rib on top of a nicely toasted bagel. It was topped with cheese, a drizzle of BBQ sauce and  crispy fried onions. Everything caramelized well when heared. It was very good and good combo of flavors. Looking forward to trying some other flats.
