The ‘Perfect’ Flatbread Sandwich
What is the ‘perfect’ flatbread sandwich you may ask? According to several critics and food reviewers, it stems from the 30year old family recipe of Joseph Anzalone.
When he and his brother-in-law opened the Long Island Bagel Cafe, the family recipe was used and the shop was a hit.
According to BKREADER, “Filthy Flats utilizes the same crispy and scrumptious bagels for its flatbread menu offerings, receiving the bagels fresh daily from Narod and Anzalone’s bagel factory in Baldwin, New York.”
The concept of using bagel flatbread in an open-face sandwich has not only been novel but well received early on. It has gotten a lot of press since launching earlier this year, and more raves are expected.
